I had surgery on my hand last week, and Tuesday I got the big cast-like annoyance off, and I got downgraded to a bandaid and a removable pressure bandage. Once my stitches come out, I think I will be good to go. The stitches are quite ugly; Frankenstein-ish even....
I have finally given in to the blogging craze, only because we have so many pictures of Hailey to share, I don't want to wait for them to load on facebook. We'll see how it goes!

NEW FOUND FUN
A few nights ago Xax and I were in the kitchen cleaning up, and Hailey was playing in our little dining area, entertaining herself. We had an opened package of toilet paper that hadn't quite made it to our hall closet, and Hailey discovered it and had such a great time, I couldn't do anything but laugh and grab the camera. Here are the results:
SWIMMING
I can't begin to tell you how much that smile brightens my day! |

OUR LITTLE BARBARIAN!
For dinner last night, we had potatoes and left over fried turkey, and Hailey was in heaven. Xax put spoonfuls of potatoes on her highchair and some chunks of turkey. She worked on those for a while until Xax got done with a turkey leg, and he gave her the bone and she LOVED it. She is such a great eater. I can't wait for the day we get rid of bottles and move to all solid food!
FIRST TRIP TO THE ZOO
We went to the zoo a few weeks ago because it was Military Appreciation Day and we got in free. Hailey loved people watching more than animal watching, except when it came to the monkeys. Our monkey loved the monkeys! Go figure!
CAPTAIN BERRY
We got to see Bobby get promoted to Captain Berry, and the really cool thing is Bishop Chapman got to promote him because he's a retired Major. Amazing day!
CHAPMANS
While we were in West Virginia, we got to see our former Bishop and his wife, Bishop and Sister Chapman. We love them so very much and miss them dearly. It was so good to see them and introduce them to Hailey. Bishop Chapman helped us through a lot of hard times, and they will always hold a place in our hearts!
