DADDYS LITTLE GIRL

GIGGLES

ESCAPE

PLAY TIME

Hailey now claps and says "AY!" whenever shes excited about something!

Cheeser

For the record, she had pigtails in that got taken out just before these pictures were taken.  She doesn't normally look this bad!

HELP ME!

Not sure what this face is, but it's pretty funny

EASTER

The Easter Bunny visited our house this year. He brought Hailey an Easter Bunny pillow pet, and a basket full of goodies and toys.  The hits were the pillow pet, the necklaces and the toy with spinning lights.  Aunt Dee gave her the Easter dress and sweater, which she looked so cute in.  Holidays are so much more fun with a family of our own!

EASTER EGGS

We dyed easter eggs this year, and needless to say we were more into it than Hailey.  She had fun watching us for about 5 minutes and then she was done. Next year she'll think its great!

SNACK TIME

Hailey was exploring a few days ago and found her thing of puffs in her diaper bag and proceeded to pry the lid off with her teeth and helped herself to a snack.  She had a good ol time making a big ol mess.  Her messes are easier to handle when she looks at you with her big blue eyes and is so proud of herself!  Love our little girl!

STANDING

Now that she knows she can stand, Hailey feels the need to stand no matter what she's doing.  She stands to play with her toys, which makes it difficult sometimes, but heaven forbid she sit down for a few minutes!

HAILEYS OWN PIANO

BACK WITH OUR BABY

Xax and I were able to escape for a few days without Hailey, while she stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Roylance.  We had a good time, but I missed Hailey like crazy.  We got home today and all I wanted to do was love on her and she wanted nothing to do with it.  She is into everything, pulling herself up to everything and walking along and around everything.  She is getting so big, I can't believe it.

JUST WAKING UP

HAILEYS FIRST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE

Hailey is starting to feed herself and the last week of Xax's course we made an insane amount of cookies for him to take to get everyone through their field exercise.  Hailey was being a little cranky, and we still had a lot of work to do, so we stripped her down and gave her her first chocolate chip cookie, and lets just say we were able to finish the cookies with one happy baby! She had the time of her life! And, yes, Uncle Bobby, we brushed her teeth after!

YET ANOTHER ONE

Tonight while I was playing with Hailey, I checked to see if she had sprouted any more teeth, and by golly, she has!  She is getting another one on the bottom left and the one on the top left has finally broken through.  She is going to be eating solids before we know it.  For all I know there could be another one or two on the way, but she won't hold still long enough for me to explore her whole mouth.  I would be fine if she decided to sprout all of her teeth at once.  Less pain for her, and less stress for me! Three new teeth in a week, that must be some kind of record! Five teeth before nine months old.  Go Hailey!!

FUN WITH DADDY

Xax came home late Saturday night and left Sunday night.  He always makes the most of his few hours with Hailey.  Sunday night before he left, we were doing his laundry.  While we were folding it, Hailey discovered the basket and was rather curious.  Xax took full advantage of this opportunity

I know she has boy jammies on, but we don't turn down free clothes, and Xax's mom bought these at a garage sale!

PIANO PLAYING

A few weeks ago, Hailey and I were out visiting my parents and Hailey got really grumpy, and nothing was making her happy. Grandpa set her down at the piano, and she was instantly cured!  She had the time of her life, and now every time we go over to their house, she migrates to the piano.  Thank heavens shes not in the climbing stage yet!

FIRST LEMON

This past weekend we went down to Salt Lake to visit Xax, and we went out to eat.  Hailey was really enjoying experiencing new foods, and so we decided it was high time she had her first taste of a lemon.  This was the result..

NEW ADDITIONS......

Turns out that in the midst of Hailey's two ear infections over the past two weeks, she has sprouted a new tooth, with another one on the way.  The top right tooth is just poking through, and the top left one is swollen.  I guess it's a blessing that the ear infections and teething overlapped.  I didn't even know she was working on cutting more teeth, and that's not a complaint.  She has been pretty miserable, so hopefully now she'll be a lot happier with the ear taken care of and the tooth through! Now she can start eating a wider aray of food, which I'm sure she'll enjoy, being that shes our baby!
